MEET THE FACULTY
Nakul Raykar, MD, MPH
Dr. Raykar is a trauma and critical care surgeon at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is particularly interested on the issues of access to blood transfusion and trauma systems strengthening in low-resource settings. He leads the STAB Lab at PGSSC.
Tato Uribe-Leitz, MD, PhD
Dr. Uribe-Leitz is a surgeon and instructor at Harvard Medical School, as well as an epidemiologist focused on health system strengthening in low-resource settings. He leads the Surgical Epidemiology, Trauma Systems and Geographic Inequalities lab at PGSSC, along with Dr. Sabrina Juran
Geoffrey Anderson, MD MPH
Dr. Anderson is a trauma and critical care surgeon at Brigham and Women's Hospital. His research at PGSSC focuses on surgical education and the social determinants of traumatic disease. He leads the Trauma, Implementation Science, Global Surgery and Equity Research Lab.
Kavitha Ranganathan, MD
Dr. Ranganathan is a plastic surgeon at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Her research interests include investigating the burden of catastrophic expenditures from surgical disease, and increasing access to safe, affordable surgical care. She leads the Surgeons Against Poverty Lab at PGSSC.
