2023-2024 PGSSC Research Seminars 

The PGSSC Global Surgery Research Seminar is a public seminar series, which aims to share methods and results across a broader surgery research community. Consortium of Universities for Global Health Conference 2023

Project Name

The 14th annual CUGH conference was held in-person in Washington DC April 14-16, 2023 at which PGSSC organized in-person events such as "Moving from Policy to Implementation." In the week before the conference, PGSSC faculty also helped facilitate virtual satellite events such as “Transforming Universities for Equity and Impact in Global Health," convened by Dr. Bethany Hedt-Gauthier.

United Nations General Assembly 2022

Project Name

In September of 2022, a delegation from PGSSC participated in various side-events at the UN General Assembly. The delegation consisted of PGSSC faculty members, research fellows, and research collaborators who attended events related to health financing, gender equity, women's cancers, and climate resilience to advocate for the inclusion of global surgery on the global health agenda.
